Even though I haven't blogged verses for a while I did continue reading the Psalms up until a month ago. Then I started again today. 

I always wrote down some verses that stood out from each chapter in my notebook, like usual. And now I want to post them.

Psalm 15

 ¹ LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?

Psalms 16:8

Desire

Today I decided to check out some verses by choosing a word as a topic. I chose the word desire and 190 verses came up when I did the search. Want to share a few verses 

The first verse that came up is from Genesis:

Genesis 3:16

To the woman He said: “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be for your husband, And he shall rule over you.”

I decided to read next the book of Psalms because I read it very seldom.

Today I read the first two chapters.

Psalm 1:1-2, 3c,

James 5

James 5:7-16

James 3-4

James 3: 13-18

¹³Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. ¹⁴But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. ¹⁵Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil. ¹⁶For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. ¹⁷But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. ¹⁸Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.
